Hey Laura, I've got a fe more pictures of moths and butterflies under my spottings. You are welcome to go through and ID if you recognize any of them :). Thanks in advance.
Oh rivu, I was referring to Dipanshu's comment earlier about saying he thought it was a moth because it was so big :) And Dipanshu, yup in general most moths have those furry looking antennae, and butterflies have thin antennae that have a clubbed ending. Not all, but it's a good general rule! I'll keep a look out too for the ID! I'd love to know what it is :)
no no, i talked about the size to say that it could not be the sailor...
Thanks Laura, look forward to IDing this picture. No luck so far. Do all moths have furry antennae? Any help is appreciated.
Wow very cool :) Yes, I would agree it's not a common sailor. But this looks like a butterfly. Being big doesn't mean it has to be a moth - the world's biggest butterfly and the world's biggest moth are both about the same size! I hope you can ID this, it's very pretty
i first thought it to be common sailor too. but its rear wing have tails which sailors dont have and the white stripe is different too.. most odd thing is its size.. but antenna surely looks like a butterfly antenna..
Looks alike small butterfly named common sailor
Hi Gina, this invertebrate was sure not a butterfly. It was a massive moth the size of a grown ups palm.
it can be a species of Neptis jumbah
