Description:

Also known a Dolls Eye Snakes or Night Tigers. The brown tree snake is tree dweller belonging to the colubrid family, they are a rear fanged snake and although venomous not deadly.

Habitat:

Brown tree snakes are found in rain forested areas and are more and more commonly being found in backyards. they are native to QLD Autralia and Papua New Guinea and have become a big problem as an introduced species in Guam.

Notes:

This guy was down on the ground rather than in the tree's as it had just been released after being found in our bird aviary.
