Sorry, I went back and checked again, it's actually just 0.7"…
Cool, by the way I also thought it was a lacewing larva but again it's too big. I guess it must be a cocoon, though it looks like some kind of caterpillar.
It's about 1.5 inch in length. I guess it's too big for a ladybug… Hopefully I'll be able to track its development.
What size was it? It kind of reminds me a ladybug larval stage. But it looks too big.
