Description:
White lily with the open flower opening straight up. Leaves are thin and roughly 12 inches long.
Habitat:
It grows in swampy forests and coastal prairies, preferring acid boggy soils rich with leaf mold. Spotted in the Piedmont National Wildlife Refuge just northeast of Macon, GA, in the pine tree forest area.
