Description:

A flower from a garden where I live, here in Portugal. This picture was taken August 22 (Sunday) of 2010, on a beautiful sunny morning .

Habitat:

Mediterranean countries like Portugal, Morocco but also Brasil and southern Asia

Notes:

Oleander is one of the most poisonous plants in the world and contains numerous toxic compounds, many of which are deadly to people, especially young children. (Despite this fact, it is often grown in school yards.)
