My mistake - I confused the scientific names!
I'm not so sure plumbago and Frangipani are related. Plumbago is a perennial plant at very temperate zones and Frangipani or Plumeria is a subtropical to tropical climate bush sometimes gring as a very large tree. Indeed, I saw one on the island of Karpathos, in Greece, which is at least 100 years old and its 20-25 feet tall.
I never realized that there was a blue variety of frangipani (plumbago)!
oopsy! Looks like our Wild Phlox! But, on closer inspection, I see the difference...Thanks, Alice!
Sorry this is Florida, That is Plumbago. I have it in my garden.
