Description:

Brugmansia, a genus of 5 species, consists of shrubs or small trees. The name honors the 18th/19th century Dutch professor of natural history, Sebald Justin Brugmans. The trumpet shaped, showy flowers are pendulous with five spreading or reflexed teeth around their margins. They have five stamens, a slender style, and two stigmas. They bloom almost continuously.
