Description:

myriostigma is a spineless cactus of three to seven pronounced vertical ribs that define the cactus. The bishop's cap is shaped like a star and is a light green color.

Habitat:

It grows on stony, calcareous soils on the scrubby plains of steep slopes or west facing slopes, and prefers low densities.
