Description:

Meerkats at the Tulsa Zoo. Very interesting creatures. The only members in the Genus Suricata. They're related to mongooses. They have very focused pack behavior with communication and sentries. If you've ever seen Meerkat Manor or the Lion King, odds are you love these guys.

Habitat:

Southern Africa.
