Description:

The Eastern Red Back Salamander is rust colored with a rusty red stripe down its back. They are only about 2 inches long

Habitat:

Oak/Hickory woodland

Notes:

Eastern Red Backs have no aquatic phase and do not go through metamorphosis like other amphibians
