then it seems that the laccaria a. is confirmed in all north america or wikipedia lies. it has spread,look it from this site, everything is slowly but surely changing, the temperature, the season aren't as back then, everything will get shipped (spiders from austrialia to europe). the info from my spotting says: " Central, South, and eastern North America" --> WHY NOT western na??? --wikipedia --> " There are several purplish species in North America that were formally labeled as L. amethystina before Gregory M. Mueller described them as distinct species in 1984. Laccaria amethysteo-occidentalis is found in western North America, where L. amethystina SHOULD not occur" . greetings from nl ----> btw Clavulinopsis fusiforme is a synoniem for C.laeticolor !!!! :)

Hi ceherzog! These are beautiful & very interesting!!! I searched & found: "Clavaria Fragilis" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clavaria_fragilis though what I found were mostly white, which makes me hesitate on offering this as a suggestion.
