Checked pictures of both and I agree, entry changed.
A lovely flower from a lovely part of the country, but I'd suggest that this is a Bloodroot, rather than a Mayapple. Both occur in similar habitat, but the tips of the petals are rounded on the Mayapple and more pointed on the Bloodroot as in this photo.
