Field Notes

Description:

Males have large bumps on their heads this time of year, they have large antlers in the fall and thru winter. Mostly brown/tan coloration with large ears

Habitat:

Rocky mountain area

Notes:

Male deer just recently dropped their old antlers and new ones are starting to form as bumps on the top of their heads. These deer are seen frequenty in our yard, and for the past 5 years, several deer have been giving birth in our yard so later in the year babies seen quite often
