Field Notes

Description:

The little silver garden woodlouse digging and foraging in the dirt and mulch under a planter.

Habitat:

Garden

Notes:

I loved playing with these critters as a kid. For some reason we also called them Potato Bugs, I guess because someone decided that they look like potatoes. Caused me no end of confusion when my Junior High history class got to the Irish Potato Famine.
