large fly, iridescent purple wings with a bee in its mouth.

Habitat:

rainforest

Notes:

I spotted this at Baobeng-Fiema Monkey Sanctuary. I thought it might be a parasitic wasp but I'm not sure.

This is not a wasp, is an Robber fly (Asilidae) and is not parasitic, is predating on a bee
