Hi lghardiore, when I saw your first spotting in Project Noah, your picture of a mosquito, I wanted to try and send you a Species ID Suggestion. The problem is that there are so many species of mosquito, here in the Philippines, that it can be difficult to identify them. The best thing to do when you see a mosquito (or, indeed, any creature) is to try and take a side view as well as a view of the insect's back. The side view usually shows some details that help in identification. However, the important thing is that you have made a start and I hope that you will enjoy sending some more spottings. I am sure that one of the rangers will officially welcome you to Project Noah as soon as they see your spotting. In the meantime, if you would like to put "Culicidae" in the box for the scientific name, that would be the first step towards an identification and if you want more information on Mosquitos, please look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mosquito... Maraming salamat.
