Description:

The most widespread breeding sandpiper in North America, the Spotted Sandpiper breeds along the edges of nearly any water source throughout the northern half of the continent. It is at home around urban ponds as well as tundra pools

Habitat:

seen along the banks of the Jordan River, UT

I was surprised to see this and thought at first it may be a juvenile!
When I see Spotted Sandpipers in FL they have few to no spots,,,but their bobbing motion is a giveaway. It's nice to see a really spotted one.
