Description:

The Northern Pearly Eye feeds on forest grasses and is not attracted to flowers, prefers willow or poplar sap, carrion and scat.

Habitat:

This northern pearly eye was spotted in a fenced-in field that looked like it had sheep in it because of the scat around.
