Raça de cavalo nativa do norte de Portugal. A cor é castanha e crinas e rabada de cor preta. Não ultrapassa 1,35 m.
Além de animal de tiro também tem também aptidão para sela, sendo utilizado no norte de Portugal como cavalo de corrida. / Horse breed native to northern Portugal. The color is chestnut and horsehair and black rump. Does not exceed 1.35 m.
Has ability to saddle and is used in northern Portugal as a horse race.

Garrano é uma raça de cavalo nativa do norte de Portugal. Existe em estado semi-selvagem no Parque Nacional da Peneda-Gerês. / Garrano is a breed of horse native of northern Portugal. Exists in a semi-wild in the Peneda-Geres
