I'm pretty sure that silver foxes are just a different color morph of the Red Fox. I'm pretty sure the two separate genera don't typically hybridize.

maybe the mother is red, father is grey. hybrids are called silver foxes and are in high demand for the fur industry.

We've had gray foxes for 4 years down at this park but I do admit the female and kits look more like red foxes. I'm attempting to get a picture of the male to check color. It is possible that red foxes may have setup a den in the same area

Those foxes seem to have black fore-legs and I can't see a black band around the muzzle. Are you sure they're not red foxes?
