large stick insect about 25cm (10") long, ID is not 100% sure

Habitat:

rainforest

Notes:

I spotted this hiking in the forest below the Bokor plateau. Not sure of the exact species.

from what I see on the photo, this seems to be a Pharnacia species. But this ID is not sure !

nope, this is an adult female of a phasmid (stick insect) species. Not possible to ID from the photo though
stick mantis....I looked at some photos of them, I think you're right, thanks
