Description:

one of the world's largest snakes, this specimen is about 3.5m (10') long

Habitat:

los llanos, seasonally flooded grasslands

Notes:

spotted this lying under thick mud. our guide grabbed it by the head and the 4 of us picked it up to put it on the grass. it is the largest snake I have ever seen
