Field Notes

Description:

Largish moth. Dirty white with patterns in moss green, brown and black. Black wavy line. Two black dots.

Habitat:

Suntaley Khola in the Dooars region of West Bengal. About 3 hours drive from the coordinates of the nearest town shown. Remote area. Lots of trees and weedy vegetation. This one, and hundreds of other types of moths, were drawn to the porch light of the resort. These settled on the walls near the light.
