Field Notes

Description:

Multiple large red blooms. Large plants to eight feet or higher.

Habitat:

They grow where planted here. Woodland. Sunny area.

Notes:

Most plants grow quite large here. You still need a tripod and one tall enough to reach that perfect bloom up " there ". It's interesting to read the history of the Hibiscus plants. Some species are unique from Mauritius and Madagascar. I read about them on the website by Hidden Valley Hibiscus. Again not an edu website, but I had to start somewhere. Being a Biology major in College has helped to lead me to better information sites when they exist. Between China, our Islands and Hawaii the early Hibiscus started it's genetic journey. I'm open to more education always.
