Description:
They look like a sap seeking insect. They have a proboscis. A distinctive yellow band around the abdomen. They have a lobster-like look.
Habitat:
Shrubs, small plants in wooded and open meadows.
Notes:
They can be found singly, but I came upon a group on these leaves.
