Description:

It is not only the largest turaco but the largest species in the diverse Cuculiformes order (which includes the cuckoos). Generally, the Great Blue Turaco is 70-75 cm (28-30 in) in length with a mass of 800-1200 grams (1.8-2.9 lbs).

Habitat:

rainforest

Notes:

great blue turacos hung around the forest surrounding Lake Nkuruba along with 100 other bird species.

I grew up seeing these birds in Fort portal and Kibaale Forest, non of us paid attention to them. Now they are scarce and I have taken nearly 10 years since I sported one. Thanx for the post

it is a good looking bird isn't it? I've been trying to add brand new spottings for Noah. I searched and didn't find any turacos so I added it
