One of my neighbors plated 2 banana trees in the open area of the garden.

Habitat:

Southeast, South Asia

Notes:

Bananas are Asia origin and have been cultivated for thousands years. It has been introduced to the new world (including "Banana Republic" : )) by Portuguese sailors. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banana
