It's difficult to ID this tree from such a faraway picture, because much of the characteristics have to do with pinecones and also how many needles are in each bundle. From the color and shape though, I would say it looks like a ponderosa pine. The needles look long and somewhat dark, which is a good indicator. Hopefully this helps!
