As a general rule, if you respect the insects, you'll be fine. It's when they're handled roughly and feel threatened that you need to watch out!
ah thanks a lot! ..what an interesting creature. and now that i know him better i guess he was also a very friendly one cause we touched him and he didn't hurt us.
Be careful around these guys, they can cause some painful burns.
