Field Notes

Description:

Small hemipteran of about 7mm length. Maroon with yellow markings and a proportionally large head. The central patch on the back almost looks like the Batman bat.

Habitat:

Found in 'El Cimatario' national park, just outside of Querétaro. The area is semi-arid, with lots of acacia and cacti.
