If this is Texas Trailing Phlox I just read that it is listed as endangered.

I just listed it as trailing phlox- which is here in Utah and looks as scraggly as the one I photographed. If it is Texas Trailing Phlox it is endangered! Wow - thanks for the lead on this one.
I am going to guess that this is a type of "Creeping Phlox". It just doesn't have very many flowers. But, the leaves are the same & the flower looks very similar to most phlox.
