After researching it seems this is a Beersheba Daffodil
Might this be Thalia Daffodil its the only pure white species existing. Either way its not sold here so must be from many years ago.
There are daffodils planted, but they all are pure yellow and petals are much larger. Are you saying the bulb mutated to produce white flowers over the years, or that this is a different species? It's in woods that have been here for over 100 years and it used to be farms and Dutch bulbs, could this be an "extinct" or "wild" variety not seen anymore?
What a happy surprise! I suppose either a bulb got dropped there by accident or by critter, or else a house used to be nearby.
Is this Daffodil or another flower species? Growing wild and amazed its pure white!
