Field Notes
Description:
Blackish brown with shades of grey and a purplish gloss. If you look closely there is an inverted ytriangle sort of whitish patch on the upper surface of the fore wing.
Habitat:
Neighbour's garden. There were two butterflies dancing so long without resting that it made me giddy just watching them. Then, this one came and settled on an Ixora plant...hoping it will oviposit soon.
