This appears to be a jumping spider. I spent some time looking on BugGuide.net for something similar, but there are over 300 pages of jumping spiders--lots of species! So, if you would like to narrow it down a bit start at this page: http://bugguide.net/node/view/1962/bgimage?from=0 and skip to page 60 (I went through the first 60 pages and didn't find anything quite like it. Have fun. These are really cool arachnids.
