That helps some more, some species can now be ruled out. Check out my spotting of a jatropha, especially the third picture: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/5179893. Does it look similar to that one? I'm thinking yours and mine are the same species.

The flowers look like Jatropha, but since not much else can be seen in the picture, I can't say which species it might be.
