Notes:

Spotted this strangler fig strangling a tree that has rooted on top of Angkor Thom. Many of the trees in Angkor have rooted into the ruins and are essentially holding them together. If the tree were removed or died, the ruins would be coming down with it.

Dan, I can imagine. I mean, it's an awesome looking place, but to have actually been there - great! (And I'm still totally impressed by that fig!)

Angkor wat is the place which is considered pride of Indian culture..!! No more comment on this location on Project Noah.

I think it was the second Tomb Raider. Lara Croft stands on the ruins right beside that exact tree. So cool to have been there too! She's done work in Cambodia and I saw her photo up at some establishments there. Thanks Ashish, I have this on my website under Cambodia. No separate page for it though. I do have a lot of photos from there. I will be adding them to mytropicalvisions facebook page soon.
