Field Notes

Description:

Red bloom about 3 1/2 inches across. Yellow center where the pollen is produced. Long serrated leaves. The plant is about 18 inches tall.

Habitat:

Here it is a bedding plant, but probably grows wild when it escapes.

Notes:

Red is a big color on the Red Island.
