Thought this might help. Pictures from a robin's nest: http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=9479342&server=vimeo.com&show_title=0&show_byline=0&show_portrait=0&color=00ADEF&fullscreen=1
I didn't realize Starling eggs were so pretty. I've learned something. I suggest that by watching the bird that sits on the nest should tell us whose eggs they are!
Starling eggs are quite pretty: http://www.sialis.org/nestsstarling.htm
Robin, if mud is used to hold the nest together. Bluebirds prefer boxes or holes like woodpeckers and Starlings do not have such a pretty egg.
Bluebird or Starling maybe? How nice to have that on your deck.
