Family: felidae
Size: small cat

Habitat:

Tropical evergreen forests, premontane humid and very humid forests, montane cloud forests, gallery forests and wet-swampy savanas.

Notes:

Is distributed from Sinaloa and Tamaulipas, Mexico, Trough Central and the mountains and low areas of Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Colombia, Venezuela, the Guainas, osuth of Paraguay, the southern portion Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay.

This individual was in the hospital's Zoo Morelia, Mexico.
