Description:

The only flamingo species that inhabits North America.

Habitat:

These beautiful birds are living in captivity at Tulsa Zoo. Natural habitats are in and around the Yucatan Peninsula as well as in the Bahamas and Cuba. They prefer lagoons and coastal or inland lakes.
