Field Notes
Description:
A brown noctuid moth with complex patterns. The base and the lower part of the fore wings were grey and there were thin black wavy lines across the wings. The anterior part of the thorax showed a crest of thick short setae and two small tufts were seen along the body.
Wing span was about 40 mm.
Habitat:
Attracted to bright lights - suburban garden. <br>
This species is seen in all three eastern states of Australia.
Notes:
Larvae of this species feed on wattle (Myrtaceae). <br>
