Description:
It is a bush about 20-50 cm high with many branches that are thin and the leaves are narrow and short; all covered by a light hairy layer. The inflorescences appear at the ends of the branches. They are hemispherical chapters of 1 cm. in diameter approximately. The flowers are very small located in the upper part of the corolla, which is yellow. Gives off an intense smell on hot days.
Habitat:
In a public garden.Santolina is a spontaneous aromatic plant from the Mediterranean region. It blooms in late spring or early summer, depending on the latitude.
Notes:
Aromatic semi-woody plant used for its digestive, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and expectorant medicinal properties among others. Intense smell of its leaves and resistant to pests. It does not require much care.
