Description:

Is a genus Cynomys esciuromorfos rodent family Sciuridae,
commonly known as prairie dogs, Native American
North currently in Canada, Mexico and the United States. In
this semiarid zone of the country is a vast field surrounded by
xerophytic scrub where the dogs live in colonies and dig tunnels and
burrows in the earth that connect to each other

Habitat:

Chihuahua desert

Notes:

This species is endemic to Mexico. Is in danger of extinction.
