Field Notes

Description:

Herb, up to 40 cm in height. Leaves alternate, sessile, 1.5 to 2.5 cm long, linear to narrowly lanceolate, pinnate or bipinnate lobed, sometimes purple. Flowers in a bunch secundiflora calyx red, sometimes with a yellow margin, corolla 22 to 30 mm long. Capsule from 7 to 12 mm long. (INBIO)
