Description:

Wing Size: 34 to 38 mm. Sexes similar.
Forewing black with yellow stripes. Discal cell in an orange stripe in the circular patch around an orange.

Hind wing orange with black distal margin. In the center of the wing a longitudinal strip black in certain individuals may be a stain linear irregular black, situated in the middle area.(Inbio)
