It is an Eastern Tiger Salamander (Ambystoma tigrinum). Nice find.

It sure doesn't look like a maculatum. Without seeing the belly it's tough to say for sure but I think tigrinum is a better bet.

eastern tiger salamander. ambystoma tigrinum. the head is broader than maculatum and the pattern a duller yellow.

I don't know enough about salamanders to support that ID 100%, but hey, it has spots and so does yours. It might get you closer to the true ID if it's wrong, at least. Good luck!
