Description:

A lonely brown leaf beetle catching some winter sun.
This is my first record of this species.

Habitat:

On red box (eucalyptus.) in a nature reserve.

Notes:

Locking away regions of native growth habitat is very useful if we wish to maintain biodiversity.

Thank oyu Lori and Mark. I have changed the ID to Paropsis marmorea which differs from Paropsis geographica by being less strongly spotted and having more yellow color through the pronotum and skirt. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/626806012
Love these little leaf beetles. Especially their little feet.
