Field Notes

Description:

Mainly black crow size bird, with white undertail and wing patches. It has yellow eyes. About 50 cm in length and a heavy black bill.
It has a loud and melodious call.

Habitat:

Rural woodlands in the Tablelands, Queensland. Just before rain.
