Description:

Black body, with orange scleritized plates near its head. It looks like a caterpillar, but it has two ventral hooks. Has a case made out of lichen and other material.

Habitat:

Roadside

Notes:

Found in a patch of grass between a road and a field. I saw it somewhere in southern Heredia province.
