This flower opened this morning, not sure how long it will last, it is the first flower for this plant.

This is also look alike... Monk's Hood Cactus (Astrophytum ornatum)

Ashish, it closes and sleeps at night, opening again in the morning, so definitely a Day flower. Stavros, thanks for the ID, I will check it out.
I have added three more pictures to show the life of the flower on the second day.
It closed the same evening and opened again the following morning, closed in the evening and had died the following morning. So it appears they open for two days only and close at night. Four more flower stems are growing.
